I clearly did because today has been absolute hell.

Started off with my morning train dying halfway out of the station and then I got elbowed by some punk kid who was brown bagging his soda.

You read that right.

I finished it off with the printer breaking while trying to print something for the CEO of the company.

I will say that I met the head of all HR today and impressed the hell out of her during the big board meeting.

I’m ready to curl up and fall asleep on the couch.

I hope everyone else had a much better day

I hope your weekend goes much better.

The real pain from divorce? When one of your best friends from hs is the voice you hear on the majority of the TMobile commercials who now lives in LA, offers you ticket to go with to T-Mobile Center in Vegas (they know he's from Boston and Bs fan) Sunday for Bs v Knights game and you just dropped $600 on tires last week and don't have a pot to piss in now, never mind flight to Vegas, etc. I need that $600 back. One income sucks, I need a 2nd job LMAO OK, vent over, I feel better

Came home from hockey last Sunday and the wife said she was planning to speak with her pastor again and then move forward with getting a lawyer. I've been fighting this tooth and nail. Feels like it's a done deal at this point.

The house is in her name. She makes twice what I make. She made it known that she expects me to just walk away financially and leave her all of the savings. She got a settlement from an injury right after the wedding.

50 pct is yours bro. For me, divorce is financially impossible on both ends unless we would want completely different life styles than we are used to. The assets get split down the middle even if it's only in her name.

Dude that's harsh. Ouch, I'm sorry. MA isn't a 50/50 No Fault.state? Same situation financially, but kids all over 18 So all I'll get from him is half the cost of their medical insurance while under 26.

You should at least talk to a lawyer. That just seems wrong.

It is difficult to live on one salary.

Good luck !

I'm adjusting, still in the early stages so am at point where if one crisis hits the wallet there's nothing left to fall back on. Oh well. Better than staying with someone who chose cocaine and their **** over their family. Onward and upward! Vegas is for sure happening next season. This was just too last minute for me to be able to pull off. Probably good that someone whose single for first time in 30 years isn't going to Vegas this wknd. LMAO

We don't gamble. The Paris is very nice. Our room is on the 28th floor and is quiet.

I would never have come except for the hockey.

My biggest issue is the smoke as you walk through the hotels.

Amanda made me leap 829 feet from the sky jump at the Stratosphere a few hours ago. I am too old for this .
You don't gamble but you made that leap?
More power to you sister!!

Glad your kitty is on the mend.

Lawyer up. If the roles were reversed she’d be making out like a bandit.

4:30 am on a Saturday? I'm sorry you are up so early! I have a wonderful glorious six day work week this week,
My first attempt at a sunrise shoot in about a year. All clouds....shot rocks and waves.

Was good to be out that early.

I went through a divorce about 2 1/2 years ago, and it was really civil, but we both came into the marriage without much. So we split things and walked away. the only tough thing is that in Mass, child support lasts until the last child is out of college (or 18 if not in college). So I've got years more to go even though my youngest is 19. But the house was in our names jointly, and she sold it, but we split the profits. I don't know the divorce laws in NH. I'll bet you don't either, so like so many others have said, talk to a lawyer, and protect yourself. Just because she expects you to walk away and take it in the shorts financially, doesn't mean that the law will force you to do that. Do what you can to protect yourself.

Any Bs fan in the Quiet Corner of CT or southern Mass looking to acquire an instant Bruins themed man cave shoot me a PM. I'm moving to KY next month and my new crib doesn't have a basement.

Sorry for you, i can't tell you what to do, but make your rights. Respected and take what you deserve as the law preview.
Good luck and remember it is only a moment on life, not easy but it will end in a new life

I attribute this to the fact that I've been binging the new season of Curb Your Enthusiasm, but all of the jump ropes at the gym mysteriously disappeared. I expressed this concern with the front desk attendant who merely shrugged.

I suggested that they get someone on this right away to investigate.

Echo this. Just find out what the laws are.

We split everything and it was amicable (until last Sat. that is)

Also...find someone to talk to--you should have to go through it alone. Lots of LICSW willing to help and listen.

Probably just a minor disturbance!
