It wouldn’t make sense for the Rangers to pay a premium to get rid of Goodrow when his buyout is as favorable to their cap situation as it is. Cap credit next year and only rough the season after Panarin and Trouba’s contracts end. If Chytil doesn’t come back next season then they probably won’t even have to buy him out until summer ‘25.

Fair enough but asking another team to take on Goodrow is either going to cost a 1st this offseason at minimum with his buyout cost being what it is. I just don't think the Rangers would pay a 2nd for Duclair on his own nor have an expendable prospect that makes sense for this sort of rental.

Don’t think NYR bite. Doubt Goodrow goes anywhere til offseason trade/buyout…
He wears an A and is still a solid part of the PK.
His play has been better the last 2 months but he needs to have a Typical Goodrow playoff if he wants to stay imo
