I’m sure it’s been said but that one sequence by ward on the power kill was legendary. Best backup since that cam ward kid back in the day.

And it’s so much fun watching the tsa line play. I really hope they can keep it up. It’s nice to have a line other than Skinner-scrub-scrub that’s a threat to score on a nightly basis.

been really impressed with PDG since coming up. that was a pleasant surprise. to have depth that can come in and play and not hurt the team is pretty sweet.

slavin got walked on that leddy goal. there's something just a half step off about him recently.

faulk would be the next one to take a seat if he wasn't the damn captain. our defense sans hanifin has been pretty uncharacteristically problematic. fleury had a bad sequence in the buffalo game. rookie stuff, but not really surprised to see him get a break after that one. faulk can't get his shot on net to save his life right now. TVR has been pretty steady eddie back there. that was an underrated upgrade.

aho and teuvo have some sick chemistry working. they're finally figuring out how to work together and it's crazy when two guys that are as immensely skilled as they are start to find it. that saucer pass from teuvo was filthy.

Something that’s been kind of lost in the shuffle is that we deleted an underrated “glue” player in Hainsey from our lineup, leaving a yawning void that could have sunk this team all on its own.

Dahlbeck and McKeown have been decent enough in very limited exposure, but imagine if we had no choice but to ice one of those guys on a regular shift. And then injuries set in at some point, and they’re in the top-4 and even worse players are coming up to fill the gap.

Adding TVR was pretty huge for our lineup, as 3rd pairing additions go. He’s been solid as hell for what he is, and he’s kept us from entering a far worse alternate universe where we’re mad at Trevor Carrick.

Having watched about half of this game, if Dahlbeck is really this serviceable on the left side, it might not be a bad idea to take advantage of that and give Slavin a rest for a game or two. He looks like he's feeling the effects of so much ice time. There may be some mental fatigue setting in.

Yeah, he has fit into group really well and is slotted just perfectly for us.

The pass was great, and I am not sure, but I think Aho one timed it before it even hit the ice.

Missed most of this one. Saw the highlights of the goals. It’s really remarkable how scoring once can set a player off. Aho couldn’t hit the broadside of a barn with a one-timer for a month (if he even made contact) and his puts a saucer that didn’t even hit the ice into the bottom corner. Ridiculous.

Cam Ward the backup is such a pleasant surprise. It’s almost like running him into the ground for 5 years was a poor organizational decision.

9-6-4 is an OK place to be right now. After the less than stellar October I had targeted 11 wins by the end of November as a goal to see if this team had any chance. That number seems more attainable now than it did 3 weeks ago.

Kruger was absolutely brutal on the Leddy goal. That's the only minus I could find in that game. Aho and TT are flying. Love Lindy back at center. Hope that stays a thing for awhile. Faulk with a couple of points, Ward stepping up in the back up role, beating teams we need to beat to make the playoffs in a back to back. Love it. That was the result a team that makes it gets.

That whole sequence on the Leddy goal was one giant fustercluck. Slavin goes for the sweep check thinking that Krueger has Leddy contained in the middle, and in reality both were 100% the wrong play to make there. Slavin should have pinched toward the middle trying to force Leddy wide, and Krueger just flat out looked like he looked at the play going "yeah Jake's got this".
