Getting prepared to start the 3rd season of the NWHL Keeper Pool: 2018/19 season. This year we will be doing the draft earlier as I will be out of country most of August, all of Sept and first week of Oct and cannot manage a draft then so doing it early this year.
PLEASE CONFIRM IN THIS THREAD THAT YOU ARE IN FOR THE COMING SEASON. If you have two teams please indicate if you would be willing to give up 1 team or will manage both teams for the coming season.
Deadline to confirm your teams participation is May 8, after that your team will be considered Open for someone else to take over.

This year we are adding an expansion team, the Seattle Kraken managed by Joey Moss who is coming back to the pool he actually started!
1. Each team must lose 1 player.
2. Each team can protect 1 Goalie, 9 of any combination of players positions from any draft year.
3. Removed
4. Seattle can pick only 1 player per team and must finish the draft at least 2 G but no more than 3 G and 21 players total.
5. Seattle must finish the Entry Draft with the league roster minimum of 22 players, 2 G, 7D, 13F.
6. Seattle will draft in 12th position, after the non playoff teams and before the playoff teams.
7. Seattle will be able to draft any "unsigned" NWHL eligible player before any team in a priority selection.
8. Seattle cannot draft more than 4 Free Agents in the priority selection.
9. All players taken in the priority selection count against the cap of 4 Free Agents Seattle can sign during the year. (ex. if Seattle takes 2 players in the priority selection they can only sign 2 more players the rest of the year until the trade deadline.)
10. Teams can make side deals with Seattle to not lose a specific player. These can be in the form of draft picks and players traded to Seattle but each team must lose at least 1 player.
11. Seattle can never go over the roster limits of 26 players and can never have more than 3 Goaltenders.
12. If I have missed anything I will post it here later.
