On pace for 36 goals and 64 points, which would be career highs in both categories, looks stronger and more confident this year. Gets no time with McDavid or on top unit PP either.

Definitely an unsustainable hot streak. He'll finish the year with around 30-40 points.

 I don't necessarily disagree, but this is the complete opposite of what you expect from reply #1 of a RNH-praising thread

he's so underrated imo.
makes it more funny because people think he's expendable and think he can be had for cheap.

Just because he had a down year last year? He’s look great so far this year... he’s almost a career 0.7 ppg player... no chance he finishes below 40 points. Lol, that’s a joke.

I say 50 points. He doesn't have a Taylor Hall on his wing anymore. Lucic hugh downgrade

He's starting to live up to his contract and showing some of the promise he showed in his rookie season.

Stop feeding that guy!

And RNH has been great defensively for years. This year he looks more willing to actually play like he is a top 2 center, not a bottom 6 penalty killing player.

I am mad about the Pouliot buyout because that further increases the possibility of losing players like RNH due to cap..

He's doing good this year, good to see. He's actually my nephew's favorite hockey player so that's good as well. The Oilers seem to be getting it together as of late as well.

Why are people bringing up Marner in an RNH thread?

Not even the same stratosphere of player -- Marner scored more points in his rookie year than any of Nuges seasons.

Nuge is underrated tho, doubt he sticks with that pace but definitely doesn't get the props he deserves around here.

Nuge rookie season 0.84 ppg.
Marner rookie season 0.79 ppg.
Not in the same stratosphere.....ok then.
Nuge has been great this season. He was good in the playoffs last year but was just snakebitten.

I've been a fan of RNH since the Worlds last summer. Thought he looked great, and everytime I see the Oilers he stands out in a positive way.. Looks like one of the few who consistently gives a shit. Still not worth his contract though.

He’s looking much stronger and more engaged this year, like the very good 2C Edmonton needs to maximize McDavid and Draisaitl by playing them together.
