It appears Game 1 against Tampa Bay will be at 5 PM on Saturday BUT if they wind up playing Toronto it will be at 8 PM.

Game 2 will be Monday at 7.

The Celtics will be playing on Sunday so........
Ugh. A semi-matinee against TBL. Not my ideal scenario to start the playoffs. Although they are better in afternoon games over the past few years than they have been for most of my life. In any case, it is somewhat distressing to have a start time that is different from every game in the regular season.

Bruins can likely get out of the 5 start by losing last 2 in regulation

That Monty let his kid do the PP tells me he’s already in playoff mode

I see the Celtics are on Sunday, so make sense we are Saturday/Monday but where is the 5:00pm coming from?

Probably TV.

A few afternoon games and a few evening games allows more people to watch.
