As much as I like Fehevary game I would think hard about this trade
However, I would offer Fehevary, Malenstyn, Dowd, and the Caps 2025 1st rd. pick not this year's 17th overall pick I would expect the Devils to have a much better season next year and the Caps to be about the same, so the 2025 1st rd. . picks will both be in the late teens early 20 stage.

next year is a better draft class and you guys got into playoffs this year, do you see that improvng next year? Not poking you, its just we should be better etc may be a tougher haul next season so your 1st could be a better position which would bode better for NJ. Just a thought.
