So, can we now start saying that good players will be good players on all lines, including the fourth?

Nic has a game that should make players around him better, not a game that needs better players to make him better. The Yotes game was the first time I seen Nic improve the play of players on his line.

Thats a decent step, compared to the past when his poor play was being blamed on those around him.

I like the way you put that. Its more than a decent step. It is a very significant, big step from Nic - considering where he was coming from.

The only player we can say without a doubt Petan absolutely sucked with was Chris Thorburn.
There is some evidence that Tanev and Hendricks also are in that group but Tanev has confounding variables (Thorburn) and Hendricks small sample size.

It's about time. Hopefully we get something for him in the offseason. If we get REALLY injured we have someone with at least a little NHL experience.
