New TSN article has Todd Marchant mentioned as Columbus' rep, he makes 2.9 million

Yeah, he used to be the rep when he was with the Oilers as well. Very hawkish, as I recall. Would wear an NHLPA t-shirt to a funeral I'd wager.

Maybe also include career earnings? I mean someone who has made $10M can probably afford to sit around more than someone who has made $1M.

Alfredsson is also Ottawa's rep (it also apears that he also did his job effectively by getting a meeting set up between Goodenowe and Pothier, as he should).

The Buffalo News just had an article saying that a permanent rep has not been named for the Sabres since Curtis Brown was traded, McKee, Patrick, and Mair are acting as reps...

The Sabres are sending three emissaries - Mair, McKee and defenseman James Patrick - because they didn't name a permanent player rep after Curtis Brown was traded in March.

It's funny how Mair thinks there's too much honour among hockey players for anyone to cross the line, yet 1/3 of them thought nothing of running to Europe to play for peanuts!!! I bet by next year, Mair will be one of the first in line to cross!!!!

As I said in a previous thread, it'd be more interesting if every team had two reps, one who made over the league average as most are now, and then one who made under the league average as there are a few exception to now.

Not to say that these guys aren't stand up individuals, but the perspective is different at every level, and it seems like the perspective has been represented above the league average the most.

Must be nice standing ground for the union while making money on the other side of the planet. When was he named union rep, because this seems mighty ****ed if you ask me.

With Linden repping to the NHLPA there is hardly any need for Morrison, you can bet Linden is doing his job.
