Nbc could have had an even greater since of humor and put some overflow games on the Olympic Channel!

I swear this happened before a few times.
They've had games on CNBC and NHL Network before, but not Golf Channel. So congrats to the Ducks and Sharks for the dubious honor of being broadcast on the Golf Network!

Why is this happening? Too many games? On a unrelated topic, will Winnipeg's games be on CBC? It does not say on that list.

NBC owns the golf channel. So it's just another option to have as many games as possible broadcast.

I am sure the Olympics might have a little to do with this but if more people watched hockey when it is on network TV then it wouldn't have to be relegated to the Golf Network.
CNBC and the NHL's channel aren't network TV

Not sure why they can't just use CNBC. Feels like all it is nowadays is Shark Tank and Jim Cramer

Both games are on the 18th? Something must be happening that day. Or perhaps competition with the NBA playoffs?

The programming lineup for the others channels during those games on the Golf Channel is laughable too, NBC really sticking it to the NHL
