Anyone got Canadian ratings for Olympic hockey?
And LOL that did beat World Cup of Hockey ratings.
And LOL that did beat World Cup of Hockey ratings.
But regardless, the Playoffs this year should bring in better numbers. There's a few more bigger market teams and less Canadian teams this year compared to last in the playoffs.
Boston
Pittsburgh
Philadephia
Washington
Minnesota
LA?
Dallas?
Tampa Bay
Anaheim
SJ
Vegas
Nashville
NJ
Columbus
The bottom half teams should be able to generate some noise. The NHL will surely miss Chicago in the playoffs this year though
3.4M for women's hockey after midnight
Thursday:
NBCSN: 246k for DALLAS/MINNESOTA (surprisingly low number)
This is what happens when they don't bother to market other teams and rely on same 5,6 teams. That is quite low considering both teams are fighting for a playoff spot.
NHL vs MLS on Sunday:
Boston/Philadelphia (NBC) 1.25M
Washington/Pittsburgh (NBCSN) 542k
LA Galaxy / LAFC (FOX) 565k
Not even close....
