I always push up+r1 to set the breakout to "stay wide". Doesnt help when passing is counter intuitive. Ill try this once more hopefully i dont lose and have my blood pressure skyrocket
When you start the game push down on the d pad and hit l1 and r1, or whatever it is on xbox, I use leave zone early and stay wide. You need to do it in game every time, it is impossible for me to play without changing breakout.
I go for the cross crease, Or go from behind the net to the front and shoot corner.
Still haven't got the game yet. Maybe on Black friday. Im wondering if i can still get those goals. Probably not the cross crease
I would recommend spending your money on star wars battlefront or rainbow six seige. If you have ps4 or xbox one, nhl15 is just as good/better

Eh idk about Seige. That game im def getting on deal, Doubt it's worth 60
Rainbow six vegas was so out cold though ive yet to experience a shooter that delivers as much thrill and satisfaction as that game did. The calypso casino days. Good times indeed.
Maybe im just chasing the dragon though, maybe i just miss the camraderie of me n my boys systematically owning other teams in embarassing ways. Ive been deprived of rainbow six for years
I liked rainbow six vegas 2. Didnt really get into the multiplayer tho.
NHL2K7 was amazing (for the discussion on the last page)
2k games were and are the best, too bad they stopped making them. They were like the nhl 2001 games
2K did a good job trying to bring more simulation elements to the game while the EA NHL series was enamored with massive hits every 5 seconds. I remember sending massive guys flying across the ice with Mike Modano and shaking my head.

That is a joke. NHL16 is fantastic and NHL15 has one mode for the most part. People complain about passing because they can't pass or have the patience to actually open passing lanes and they can't skate through everyone and glitch the goalie.

Look, if we're going to debate which game you should get instead of NHL 16, it needs to be Fallout 4.
