And that's why players want to get to their 2nd contracts ASAP. The vets in the last CBA screwed the young guys over, giving teams the team option on a 5th year of a rookie contract.

As for the Giants, could they be the NY team that is in the Sam Darnold sweepstakes instead of the Jets. 3 wins behind them and with no run game and no WRs left, plus a poor OL and an inconsistent Eli, the Giants are in tough for their final 11 games.

Sure, but this is the second season of his current short by a big injury. I think it's also the third consecutive season for him to finish with needing surgery.
