Arsenal the current EPL leader with 72 points (29 matches).
Man City the current EPL second place holder with 64 points (28 matches).
Arsenal : Liverpool at away, West Ham at away (+ Arsenal have 3rd EPL match before City match up; Southampton at home).
Man City : Southampton at away, Leicester at home (Brighton vs City match was postponed, due to City's UCL & FA Cup matches).
When Arsenal and City meet; City will have two matches in hand to Arsenal.
Arsenal really can't lose a single point versus their 3 opponents, if they want to keep their championship train chugga chugga chugging forwards
Man City obviously having the "easier" match ups prior to their meeting, but then again for some reason City has struggled vs weaker opponents this season
although,.. in this current form, its very unlikely that they would loss points to the clubs in 19th & 20th positions.
- but they are in both UCL & FA Cup, so playing tons of games... i dunno
Arsenal faces both Liverpool and West Ham away, yes both clubs have heavily underperformed (and injury troubled) this season
but they are still Liverpool and West Ham, two big clubs in English Football, i think they might lose some points, or that key point
that they cannot lose - Southampton match will (read: should) be a wash
What ever the out come is, the next 8 days will be huge for both clubs.
