The league wouldn't get the $500 million it will from an expansion team if they just moved a team. Which ultimately is all they really care about.

No, I get it, but I still think it would’ve been a more appropriate move. Seattle makes a ton of sense though and I think would thrive.

The expansion fee is 650 million so no way is a team moving there nhl wouldn’t benefit from that.

As long as there isn’t black in their jersey I am 100% ok with any jersey.

Seattle Sasquatch is what I recommend for team name. Mascot is a given the colors brown green white work.

With Seattle likely coming in 2020-21, it should be interesting to keep an eye on how the Devils look for expansion.

If they stick with the same rules, any player that begins his professional career with the Devils next year will be ineligible. Anyone in the NHL/AHL right now would be eligible for expansion for 2020-21.
