Newbie Question: Deciding on which tickets to buy

The issue I am dealing with:

- Upper VIP Center Section 325 tickets are $20 cheaper than the Lower VIP Corner Section 228

I have heard that sitting 'center ice' is best. So even though the center tickets are higher up, should I go with those? Or is it worth sitting in the corner to be closer to the ice?

What row in 325? I'd probably take the center ice seats, as long as I wasn't all the way up...but even that isn't too bad.
