I'd say somebody is due.
I'm betting it won't be the Jets, Giants or Isles. Don't follow basketball so don't know anything about the Knickerbockers.

Yankees and Metropolitans have a very good chance to break the streak (I don't follow baseball either).
As much as I hate to admit it, the Rangers have the opportunity for a very deep run for the next 5+ years.

BTW, Nets moved to Brooklyn in 2012, don't they count?

The favorites:
Yankees/Mets - top contenders this season
Rangers - great core

Dark horse:
Jets - if Zach is good they could come on strong. Seems like their draft was well liked this year.

Mediocre position:
Nets
Islanders
Giants

Hell no:
Knicks
