As well as Kreider...holy crap...the guy is just sooooo useless on 3 out of 4 shifts in almost every game . Totally lost or disinterested standing around with one hand on the stick ......with that deer in the headlight look in his eyes. There is absolutely NO reason why he can't put the physical element into his game that Matt Martin does . Hard to figure.....

Good to know i'm not the only one who sees his game as you do. It's infuriating watching him 95% of every game knowing the tools he possesses.

It's so frustrating because we've seen him play at maximum effort and he can be a game breaker. This season he has been so inconsistent and doesn't seem to know how to play to maximize the effectiveness of his tools.

He insists on slowing down the game everytime he has the puck. Almost always he slows and looks to pass. Kreider, you're not Stepan. You're not as good a passer and don't have the vision, but most importantly, with his speed he should be busting ass every single time he has the puck trying to beat someone to the outside. Seriously. He is effective when he tries to use his speed to gain the zone, back defenders in and stretch the ice out. He is removing any effectiveness from his game when he slows down the game with the puck on his stick.

How is it possible he's done this for 65+ games and still hasn't snapped out of it? What is the coaching staff telling him?

If they want any chance of having home ice for the first playoff series they cannot lose this game. Need to man up and get the 2 points. Some big games against Detroit, Pens and the west coast trip.

They have their issues against the Isles. They need home ice that series.
