In July, I thought to myself, "Boy, I'm really excited for hockey to come back!"

In September, I thought to myself, "Boy, hockey is almost here!"

On October 14, I'm thinking to myself, "Is hockey over yet?"

Yeah, it blows - hopefully they get some good assets from Zucc.

I don't know what's wrong, there's no leadership, no fighting spirit in this team.

Hopefully because they're tired of AV and they make sure that Gorton knows it.

AV's days here are numbered. Said it a few days ago, but I think he's gone if the Rangers have a poor October homestand. Let Lindy complete the year as the interim, then search for a good coach that might become available in the offseason that provides a balance of coaching a modern system and can properly motivate their players to get ready to play.

Nash should go at the deadline. Guy is cooked. Grabner will be too expensive to extend in the summer, trade him too.

I just hope Gorton doesn't make a panic trade for Duchene in a futile attempt to save the season (and AV's job)

1 regulation win out of 12 counting preseason.

How long does Gorton watch this?
Until there is a long-ish enough break for the team in which he can fire AV and give the team a practice or two under the interim coach.

He isn't going to "Gallant" AV. Gorton/NYR will probably be decent about it.
