New FIFA Games

Just wanted to gauge some posters on here. Could’ve sworn we had a dedicated FIFA thread on here anyway but no big deal. Anyway, I haven’t played the game thoroughly in years since the PS2, possibly FIFA12?

I guess my question would be, if I strictly play ‘manager mode’ what has changed since then? When I play NHL games, I hardly play online. I just play franchise mode until I get bored of the game.

I play PES 2017 on my PS3 since I skipped the PS4. I've seen the gameplay trailer for FIFA 22 and I know EA rightfully gets flack but there are some interesting things they're doing here which might actually improve gameplay.

On PES 2017, I play Master League, you can generally download option files to replace generic teams with real ones. The mode is flawed but it is fun to start with a bad team and slowly build them into domination over a handful of seasons.
