Following the trades of star players Jonathan Toews and Steven Stamkos it is a new era for the HFNHL Ducks. The team also parted ways with d man Nick Holden. In return, the team has added some much needed prospects, draft picks and cap space.
Speaking of cap space, we are willing to accept a contract player (preferably a C or D) in a traditional Jeff Kirk Tampa Bay deal.....paying us to take your problem child. Our projected roster is at just under $65 million for the season currently.
The Ducks will still look to ice a competitive team and make the playoffs....just with a much lower payscale.
We welcome new leadership from players like Voracek and Pearson to join the squad, as well as Phaneuf and Greene on the backend.
