That sounds real dumb. I hate this game already and I hate myself cuz I'll probably buy it and get mad cause it isn't good and they push VC on me more and more and more.

I don't see where it says you can't play the actual games. You should be able to if you want.

If it's just a movie mode and you have to sim through all the game and the playoffs it's stupid.

2k17 is fantastic. Unless the PC version differs greatly from the console one.

The story idea is cool. But I'd bet they **** it up. The idea has BEEN cool, but they have yet to pull it off for me. They literally just shove a story, personality and character down your throats and say it's amazing.

And the core gameplay has always seemed clunky and broken to me on these 2k's. Unless I win the lottery, I can't justify spending 80-90 dollars on this, unfortunately, I've always loved basketball games.

I never have many issues with the gameplay in NBA 2K games. It's too bad the rest of the game tends to be mostly trash. 2K17 was flat out garbage with the (frozen) loading screens.

Never once saw you can't play your GM games. Not sure why people would jump to that conclusion.

I actually think it's a cool feature considering most sports games are still struggling to get your own personal player story off the ground. Freaking and Vibing with Spike Lee was annoying but it was still a fun enough Intro to a career considering something like NHL is like "pick your team, score 27 goals in prospect game get drafted in 3rd round" stage.

18 has Longshot (true, nobody has really played it) but FIFA 17 had The Journey which was pretty good with Alex Hunter. So EA is starting to do that story mode thing. Now if they could only do it for NHL

For the first time I got it digitally, it's nice to have it pre-installed so I can actually play tonight instead of having to wait until morning

The soundtrack has me cracking up, upon booting up the game the first thing I heard is Sammy Hagar's "I Can't Drive 55" followed maybe 2 songs later by Deaf Leopard's "Pour Some Sugar On Me", actually hilarious

I am happy to report that you can put the all-time teams into custom leagues, so I have promptly made a league of all 30 of them to f around with for a while

2K17 was just too jacked up and I won't be getting this one. Getting in to a drop in or league game with your friends was a disaster and they never fixed it.

Not to mention many players glitched their way to a 99 overall and they did nothing to fix it. If you were in to purely off like game modes it's a great game.
