sorry man, im going to pick on you..but its actually everyone. how can you put zagrapan, stuart, bourret, hudler, green, setoguchi, carle, eriksson, grigorenko, pavelec all above Brian Lee. The guy is at least as good as Luc Bourdon. Many won't admit it, but Lee could very well end up being much better than Bourdon and if Bourdon is 19...how could Lee not make the top 50?

very good list IMO but Perezhogin at 28 is too high and he is not a prospect anymore and I would put Pogge , Bourdon , Rask , Brassard and Frolik higher than that but overall this is a very good list ! :yo:

It'll be interesting to see if HF decides whether Cam Ward has graduated or not - sure in terms of regular season games he's not, but with 22 playoff games and a Conn Smythe, an argument can be made that he's no longer a prospect.

I won't care either way, just something for everyone else to kick around. (Though if he's still considered, he should easily be in the top 5 after this postseason.)

Completely agree, much better list too. The only changes I would make is move Montoya up a couple spots and move Schneider down 1 or 2 spots. I would definitly also add Helenius and plug him in around 14th or 15th and take off one of the bottom 2.

Bingo.

Montoya is easily a top 5 goaltending prospect. I can't imagine why he wouldn't be considered one in any world.

I'm shocked how many lists dont include Steve Bernier. He is definitely top 20 in my books. I guess a lot of people didnt see him play in San Jose at the end of last year, but the skill he showed to go along with the size and work along the boards was simply scary.

And the guy I think who is left off a lot of lists who is going to breakout this year and people will say "How was he not ranked higher?" is going to be Robert Nilsson. The stickhandling and passing skills he has are sick. I cant even count how many brilliant setups he had last year were flubbed. Good shot too.

Out of curiosity, does anyone have any particular reason for not having Zajac in their top 50?

Personally, I see him being a top 35/40 prospect and I think people vastly underrate his potential. He has the skills to be more than just a second line centerman, AND he has the intangibles and defensive responsibility to be a complete player. He should be much higher on a lot of these lists.

Bernier is a stud!!! One of my favorite players to watch last season, very exciting and a big power forward who throws his body around. And when he drops his shoulder to drive to the net, you know he is powerful. Great young player that I love to see at right wing, Along side Marleau and Michalek. Bernier will put up very good numbers in '07.

He sure has potential but how likely do you think it is that he reaches it?
imo he is a great prospect and i think you will have your question at least partially answered this year as it appears that he will be the rookie that cracks the lineup for the habs in october

Jeff Tambellini is the Islanders 6th best forward prospect.... So since I don't see any Islander forwards (let alone five) ahead of him on your list, I'd say he's a bit too high.
