Lecavalier is my Canada MVP up to now. Brodeur have been great, but the way this team is playing... he's not the most valuable player for me.

Canada = lecavalier has been by far the most consistant player, and is in a tie in points with sakic. brodeur would have been a good choice too, but his injury sort of disqualifies him from here.

USA = tkachuk

Finland = koivu

Czech Republic = elias

Slovakia = eeek. they didnt even average a goal a game did they? may as well say chara.

Swede = after reading about sundin's mom, it's gotta be her! :D

Russia = kovalev.

Germany = sturm? kolzig? i dunno.

Canada = Smyth
USA = Esche
Finland = Kipprusoff
Czech Republic = Zidlicky
Slovakia = Hossa
Sweden = Modin
Russia = Kovalev
Germany = Sturm

No real surprises here, although I think Smyth is sort of a sleeper pick. He's a high powered offensive player and he really throws the tempo of a lot of games in Canada's favour. That's how I feel.

there is no way lemieux has even been close to being the best canadian player. i love the guy and all, but it's getting a bit sickening to see all the praise the man gets for every little thing he does.
