what's the point of that trade ? Unless Holland asked for a trade I clearly don't see the point.

He probably didn't like the fact that Scherbak, McCarron, Deslaurieurs, Froese and Carr were all called up before him.

I don't know if he voiced his frustration publicly though.

It's also worth noting that the second year of Holland's contract is one-way.
