For '24-25. If can't get prime scoring I would add to secondary scoring. Keep Monahan and Roy, each 20 goals. Sign a Toffoli type, he's 30 goals. That's 70 goals from your third line. Plus intangibles they bring.

Newhook and Dach on second line. They probably trade a defenseman for second line scorer. Hope it's not Zegras. The 4th line double center it with Dvorak/Evans and a banger like Anderson. RHP/Armia depth.

They will.. you'll notice a lot of defenseman aren't there, so they'd have to have done something with those names.

I just don't know who it will be so I just didn't put them in.

I am sure a couple veterans will still be kept around and then there will obviously be trades to happen to improve our forward group.

On D it gets very tough with all the guys coming up, would have had Mailloux somewhere a couple months ago but it is very hard to not see Struble as part of the team in the future. Not to mention there will also potentially be guys like Engstrom/Konyushkov as well.

X1: I would like to add a vet-ish 3C with size. Nic Roy is the blueprint. This could create a really strong 3rd line.

X2: Depth wingers will rise from some of our prospects: Heineman, Tuch...

X5: Could be either Xhekaj or Mailloux.

That leaves multiple pieces that can be traded to fill the roster. Matt Roy (2024) and Pavel Buchnevich (2025) are my top UFA targets and would be great fits imo, as long as we trade Matheson this summer. I assume Gallagher is on LTIR in 2 years.
