I'm pretty sure that Florida will pick a D-man instead of another offensive prospect.

If Thelen is still on the board after the Ducks picked I want Waddell to pick Thelen, but the idea of Wolski sounds interesting.

O'Neill will be picked by Minnesota, because Thelen won't be on the board.

If the Black Hawks take Barker, I believe the BJackets will probably trade down. I also think the Rangers are going to try hard to move up and get Olesz.

I can buy that argument. I don´t think that Thelen will be a top-10 pick, but you never know.

I highly doubt the Canucks would pass on Wes O'Neill to take an uncertain guy like Roman Voloshenko, especially if O'Neill drops that far, which would be the surprise of the draft, IMO. I think the most likely 'faller' out of the top ten is Wolski.

No doubt, all signs point to us taking a defenceman.

I'll guarantee the guarantee that he goes between 6 and 10. Lol. Can't we find a medium, guys? :)

I'll agree with that...if the Ducks would have just tanked that last game of the season we would have all but been guaranteed Thelen. :banghead:

Kudos for having Garlock in the 1st round. :handclap: I like what I've seen from him, he's a gamer with a lot of heart and looks bigger on the ice than what he's listed at.

I put him in there because that´s the way the Cap draft. Just look at the 2002 draft. They took a good russian, Semin, a strong d-man, Eminger and a surefire NHL grinder at worst, Gordon who is the safe pick. I belive that they´ll do the same this year with 3 1st rd picks.

Canes already have quite a few players in the same mold as Ladd (Cole, Vasicek, Bayda), I see them going with another skill player (Wolski) or a top d-man (Thelen) at #10 unless they were to trade down, which isn't likely.
