^Yup that's what I was estimating too, going from work to the game, from 75 mins down to 45. Returning home (3 miles south of work), time wouldn't change.

It isn’t the mileage as much as it’s navigating through the downtown core during rush hour.

My guess is it won't help quite that much. In theory traffic is moving from I-10 to the 202, so maybe I-10 gets a little faster. 202 is a freeway, so it's still going to be busy. But even a 20 minute reduction and skipping the tunnel and the 51 interchange will still be nice.
