Montreal gets: #6, #30, and Athanasiou

Detroit gets: #3 and #56

Ideally, Detroit drafts Zadina at 3 and Montreal gets Kotkaniemi at 6.

Thoughts? Keep in mind AA would have been Montreal's 7th highest scorer last year.

Just outside St.louis
Montreal will probably draft kotkaniemi at 3 anyway, zadina could slip to 5 if Ottawa goes wahlstrom/tkachuk or defense.

Then Detroit could just do a swap with zona, And not overpay.

Montréal
All of that because you want your prospect rankings to match?!?

Selfish.. And useless.

We'll just get the Center at #3, thanks.

You should really think about trading with Montreal...so far their other trades, it's turned out way better for the other team. Bergevin is like the French version of Chia.

Haha, I thought this was actually a win/win for both sides if Holland actually wants Zadina, didn't think Habs fans would be mad at getting another 1st round pick and still getting the player they want.

Bad for Detroit, difference between 3 and 6 in this draft is not that significant. Take out AA and Wings might consider it if they love Zadina or think the D-man they want will get picked by Ott or Ari.

Habs have 4 2nd pick why waste #3 overall for a pick we could get by using 2 2nds

?
Because that way we still get the player we would draft at 3 OA anyway and make one more first round selection.

If you want to spend 2 secound rounders, well spend another one with the 30th pick to move further up then you would get with 2 seconds.

Ah, and Athanasiou.
