On february 26 2016 the Chicago Blackhawks trade center Phillip Danault and a 2018 2nd round pick for Dale Weise ( 30% retained ) and Tomas Fleischmann.
Before the trade Weise was in his best season with 14 goals and 12 assists for a total of 26 points in 56 games with the Habs and Fleischmann was good with 10 goals and 10 assists for 20 points in 57 games... At their start with the Hawks it was a total disaster : Weise had 1 assist in 15 games and Fleischmann had 5 points in 19 games.... and both quit Chicago at the end of the season!
In his side, Danaul sign a 3 years contract of 3, 083 millions per years and he is still with the Habs and his now indispensable for them. More the years passes, more this trade looks better for me... But its at the point to become even worst for the Chicago Blackhawks!
Now there is a defensman that is leading the WJC 2019 in points ( for Defensman ), Alexander Romanov with 1 goal and 4 assists for 5 points in 4 games with a +7...WOW And yes this defensman is own by the Habs and shows that he got the potential to become an impact in Habs Lineup. The 2018 2nd round pick of the Habs will defenitly have a bright future with the organisation, and you probably notice it, the pick that receive Montreal in the Weise and Fleischman trade! What a steal from ME!!!
