Via the Daily Update: "Pro Wrestling Sheet reported that Tommaso Ciampa is expected to be out of action until early 2018."

Ciampa / Gargano was going to be the hottest fued of the year, sad we have to wait till next year for it to happen

Paige was at Slamiversary wearing a mask.

Yeah, and it was apparent that it was Paige and not La Luchadora.

I would expect that the WWE is waiting for the doctors can clear her and then they'll release her. But doing stupid stuff like that will probably get her sued considering that the WWE invested money in a movie about her that will probably never see the light of day now.

The movie is the only thing that's kept her from getting released. The movie will get released, Dwayne doesn't waste his time.

Just as an aside to the Paige thing, her last match was a year ago last week.

Is it true that Vince became interested in Okada once he found out how tall he is? I read that yesterday and wasn't sure if it was a joke or not.

Not really news or anything, but for lack of a more general thread here's a list of wrestlers in WWE with the most matches (TV, PPV, House shows, everything):

Men 1000+:
1630 - Kane
1421 - The Big Show
1282 - John Cena
1250 - Dolph Ziggler
1235 - Randy Orton
1166 - Kofi Kingston
1152 - The Miz
1095 - Chris Jericho
1085 - Sheamus
1039 - Cody Rhodes
1000 - Jack Swagger

Women in top 100:
819 - Natalya
619 - Alicia Fox
461 - Naomi
393 - Layla
371 - Tamina

I saw it in a random comment on reddit and found it interesting. The full list is here. Not really any surprises, all guys from the modern era at the top. WWE run their business and shows differently now so it's expected. The stars also work all the time so they quickly climb up the table, opposed to the past where they often wouldn't.

It's not a complete database as there are some names missing from it, but still interesting. I wouldn't expect reality to be too different from this list are far as where the names are.

A couple of notable names:
1282 - John Cena
461 - The Rock
352 - Steve Austin
203 - Hulk Hogan

EDIT: Actually the numbers are really off. After checking a couple of names they are 100s apart, so either the database is missing a ton of data or they are not counting it correctly.

Hogan is the one that made me question the numbers as I knew he took a lot of time off, but he still did tour more than 30 matches a year (usually about 100 on a 'full' year). I expect the modern guys are more correct, but Cody had about 400 more matches than the list so that's your margin of error.
