Beaudin and Roman are great picks at that point. Good draft, lots of upside. Khovanov, if he prepares well in the offseason could really break out next year.

Thanks.

I'm really hoping Montreal takes Khovanov with one of their picks in the 2nd rd.

Also hoping we keep all 4 picks in the 2nd. We need to develop some organizational depth. Best way to do that is to keep those picks.

Khovanov was a target of mine.. so was Bulat Shafigullin

Drafts:

Edmonton Oilers:
- Evan Bouchard
- Ty Dellandrea
- Sampo Ranta
- Giovanni Vallatti
- Angus Crookshank
- Jesper Myrenberg

Calgary Flames:
- Alexander Steeves
- Pavel Gogolev
- Ryan Peckford
- Bogdan Zhilyakov

I actually managed to get 3 talented players with Calgary and one fourth line plug (Peckford)

I didn't pick half of Oiler's team but that's a pretty good draft.. a top pairing D, a potential top 6 C, a scoring winger, a solid defense prospect, a darkhorse prospect, and one of the best goalie prospects in the draft.

Just thinking the same about Edmonton. Bouchard & McDavid. I mean, Wow...

Very good draft for Oilers. Lots of depth in that one.

Calgary has so few picks, so that's a tough one, but Steeves & Gogolov are skilled.

And Thanks for helping out with the teams.

My draft is done with Colorado.
:avs
14.: Colorado Avalanche: Grigori Denisenko (LW) - Yoko Yaroslav (KHL)
45.: Colorado Avalanche: Jonny Tychonick (D) - Penticton Vees (BCHL)
49.: Colorado Avalanche : Jonathan Berggren (C/RW) - Skelleftea AIK (Sweden).
76.: Colorado Avalanche: Jake Wise (C) - USNDP (USHL)
169. Colorado Avalanche: Matthew Struthers (C) - Owen Sound (OHL)

200. Colorado Avalanche: Carl Berglund (C/RW) - Farjestad (Sweden)

Love that draft. I love every single pick and I wouldn't want anyone else within two picks of the picks I've made.

Target for the first round was Kotkaniemi, Denisenko/Wilde and I hit on the rest, except the 6th round where I targeted Pospisil, but I really, really like Struthers and would've picked him with my next pick.

Berglund seems like a nice find, from stats watching alone.

I wanted to be an ass and laugh at your list of busts.

But that's a great draft.

Value for value, it's probably the best draft in this thread.

Don't mind me.

Can't wait to see all of them bust 5 years down the line.

Your first four picks are first round talents. Jack Wise in the third is stupid good value.
