Miro is fully recovered of his concussion.
And he'll play tonight's SM liiga game in Vaasa where HIFK face local liiga team named Vaasan Sport.

Miro is LD HIFK's 1st defence pair with Saku Salmela ( Salmela is RD)

Miro played 26.47 min in his first liiga game this season

Yeah but his plus minus rating was -1
HIFK was very bad tonight's game and lost 4-1.

However i'm sure Miro comes better when he gets more games during the season.
It's not easy to come back when you have been sidelined for a month due to concussion.

Heiskanen played pretty badly. 2 penalties that led to massive momentum changes.
But, he played against the (now, after their win) top team of Liiga.
If you didn't know what FinnHockeyFans' picture means, it is an abbreviation that basically reads out loud
''really fu***** spiritless phlegmatic ice hockey, HIFK.''
That's what was basically the story this game for the whole team.
Everyone on that team was terribad.
5-0 was the final score.

Well I dont think anyone is expecting him to play every game like he has been a pro for 12 years. The od stinker here and there as an 18 year old is pretty expected

3 points in 4 games with a +2. I wish Euro leagues had advanced stats, but with only that to go on, I'd say he's doing fine.

They're relatively scarce, yeah. But there's a few.

HIFK 5v5 Corsi% top3:

1. Miro Heiskanen 65.7%
2. Teemu Eronen 56.9%
3. Lennart Petrell 55.8%

Heiskanen's corsi actions are at 67 for, 35 against.

I still maintain that HIFK is a bit of a trainwreck this season and it's tough to shine when your team's getting beat 4-1 or 5-0. But they seem to be doing a bit better since Heiskanen started playing. Still 12th out of 15 teams despite a massive player budget, however.

Miro assisted two HIFK's goals tonight's visitor game vs Kookoo.
But that wasn't enough to help HIFK win. HIFK lost 4-3 after overtime. Miro got icetime 22:23

I honestly wasn't expecting this much offense out of him.

1 u19 player has gone ppg in the league in the last 30 years, S. Aho, so his pace is ridiculous at the moment, it will calm down a bit atleast but ridiculous start still.

And here I was excited when I thought the Stars merely drafted an excellent defensive defenseman. I'm looking forward to our all-Scandinavian top 4 in a couple of years!
