I doubt Hoffman gets $7m/7 years. I'd take Hoffman. Not happy about the deal, but happy that Kane stays a Shark.

Good poll, left wing goal scorers with questionable character around the same age and alot of talent.

Kane's the better player. But you're asking two different questions....

You're asking who youd rather have considering contracts and then asking who's the better player...

I would take Hoffman in both accounts

Kane over Hoffman when it comes to who the better player is.
However with Kane's issues and contract it's easily Hoffman for me.

A pretty good poll imo, currently on the fence and cannot go one way or the other currently, Hoff has the shot and speed but Kane has the more complete overall game imo, both players have aspects to be desired.

I'd rather Kane the player. Hoffman's current contract is better, but if he has another good season I can see him getting something similar in AAV, maybe shorter term, which would make me go Kane.

Chose Kane considering Hoffman's a upcoming UFA.

He's got 2 years left on his deal.
