Cholowski, just because I've watched him play way more than I've watched ras

I went with Cholowski. I've warmed up to Ras since the draft but Cholo is having a great year in Juniors. Exactly what we were hoping to see from him. If Rasmussen wasn't hurt he'd have a better chance but he's just not in the lineup enough to drastically change my opinion yet. It looks like this will be a close one. Hronek deserved the first spot so good for him.

For me its Hronek, but if he is not eligible because he won #1 prospect, I choose Cholowski. If we could get two top 4 d-men out of that Datsyuk trade, that would be awesome!

Makes me sad that svech has fallen so much

at least he has picked up his play a bit in the last few weeks. Considering last year in the AHL, i still think he's going to be a good player for us. Let's see how he finishes the season. For me personally, he's our #2 prospect after hronek

Rasmussen.
Sad that our #9 overall pick isn't our #1 prospect. But he still seems like a good bet to be a solid NHLer.
Svech seems to lack the gear required to be a good top sixer.
Cholo has some skating ability but I want to see how he looks in the AHL.

Cholo, add Pearson.

re: Svech. Other guys are having good years, but he's had a pretty poor one. I think it would have been hard for him not to fall a bit here.

Cholo

I expected a top ten pick to play like he deserved that draft position and injuries or not he hasent yet. I hope ras proves me wrong and goes in a tear for rhe next year or two

I think this poll is going to get scattered at #5. Maybe even #4 if people turn away from Svech.

I think pretty much everyone will agree on a top 5 of Hronek, Cholo, Ras, Svechnikov, Saarijarvi with perhaps some arguments on the order. #6 and beyond seems impossible to me. I think I'm going to go Lindstrom but I have no clue who will win.

He was 1.5 ppg and leading his team while playing with an injury, he played pretty well. Add that to an impressive first TC in Detroit, not sure what else he has to do other than be a 2ppg player in the W

I can’t decide if this 4 horse race is a good thing or not. On one hand I really do like the skill set and potential of our top 4 prospects. On the other hand, I'm disappointed that no one has excelled enough to really differentiate themselves from the rest.

Hronek, cholo, and ras have all taken steps forward this year

I voted Cholowski because I assumed Rasmussen was #1. OH well the 3 of them are close for me anyway.

Honestly I think Hronek is a clear step above anyone else. I think he has top pairing upside, second pairing floor, and is also the most developed as he's already succeeding in the AHL. Cholo is less developed and I'm not sure he has top pairing upside. Until exploding in Juniors this year he hasn't really done a ton and this is his D+2 season so he really should be pretty great in Juniors.

I thought Ras was a terrible choice at the draft and view him as a 3C+PP player long term. That's just my opinion though. Then Svechnikov is really tough to predict because of his months of poor play followed by dominance. Saarijarvi has awesome skill but it's tough to project him as anything more than a second line and PP specialist at his size. So Hronek to me is our best project by a very definitive step.
