Michigan has lost all their games to start the new year as well as an ex game vs NDT18. Very poor goaltending and the team losing confidence fast. Not even ranked. One would think that a program with the resources, money and facility thatMichigan has that they would not even be in this position. Last year Berenson had arguably the best goalie in the league and this helped Berenson cover up the shortfalls. But not this year. One has to ask questions about the leadership and direction of this hockey program. This is unacceptable.

You're forgetting that part of their problem has been the devastating effect of not having had all of their top six defensemen healthy and together. Not saying that this should be used as an excuse, but that's contributed to their downfall.

You're right about the goaltending. None of the three has stepped up in even a remotely consistent way. I saw the game vs. Alaska last night and Janecyk was shaky at best. One goal he let in (I believe it was Cody Kunyk's second goal) was such a softie. But even worse was that he just didn't look confident at all, IMO. Add to that, Merrill not having returned to form yet and guys like DiGiuseppe not being able to even buy a goal right now and it's a formula for a bad season.
