The problem with your statement is that the people who donated to the GoFundMe page donated money to PUT UP BILLBOARDS THAT SAID #MELNYKOUT. It was clearly stated on the page as to where the money would be going, there was no negotiation taking place, it was simple, if you wanted to put up a billboard that said MELNYKOUT, you donated and the fans did.

If you want a Karlsson rally, why don't YOU start one.

3) We will see if the fans can force him out. Your hero is between a rock and a hard place until he moves into Lebreton. Because by then it will be too late. The freaking out is occurring to dissuade the owner from making rash decisions (trading our franchise player, slashing costs (on-ice and off-ice). Fans in this city are making it very clear that we won't sit on our hands and wait for the team we love to be gutted. I'm not convinced the billboard is the best course of action, but it's a start.
