Gorton needs to hit a homerun on this deal
Miller going also to TB
this deal is going to be huge, it has to be if miller is going as well
sergachev and point might be on the table if miller is going back
I'm in St. Pete right now and nothing on why the Bolts gave up.
Actually going to the game tonight
Sounds like Namestnikov going to NYR.
If Gorton dealt Miller and Mac and the only roster player he got back was Namestnikov... that's going to be tough to swallow.
Nice haul, but I wanted Sergachyov
Not enough. Gorton blinked first. To not get point or sergachev or foote is horrible. That's not enough for mcdonagh alone and we threw in Miller. *****ed doesn't begin to cover it.
Gut reaction, 2/100.
This is ****ing terrible.
They must really rate Howden. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
For McDonagh, I like the deal. For McDonagh plus Miller, not a fan.
Passable for McD, let alone including Miller
Gorton should be nailed to a cross for this absolute garbage trade
holy mother of ****
Thats a bad deal. Not awful, but its bad.
That's my exact view. I like the deal for McD alone. Not for including Miller as well. I don't know if there was something internal that caused us to sour on Miller that badly or something.
We better hit the lottery on Dahlin. If not, we'll be picking in the 1-3 OA range for many years.
Spooner replaces Miller, I guess is the logic. Similarly inconsistent players with offensive skill.
I may not like the full value of the deal, but maybe Miller's value wasn't that high.
Some people have suggested Howden has 1B potential- hopefully that's true.
As was said, that looks like a good return for McD - but not for both him and Miller.
Why tanking doesn't work!
Ugh, I dunno how to feel
