Does anyone know as to why Bill McCreary never played another game after his big hit at the blueline on Gretzky? I believe it was in '81. McCreary had only played in 12 games at that point I believe, but why did he never play again. Actually I believe he never played another SHIFT! Does anyone have any feedback as to why this was?

i think he just wasn't very good...

apparently one big hit can make a legacy, but not a career
