I'd rather Carr get a real shot. But if he's taking Logan Shaw's spot I'm fine with that. Knowing Julien it will be Carr who sits.
I also wouldn't be surprised if he outplays DLR.

Why the heck do we not send guys to play in Laval? Is it to give Lefebvre's reasons for him sticking around?
But Julien will most probably take Carr out of the lineup more often than Shaw and Froese to make room for McCarron.

I'd send L. Shaw if eligible to go to the AHL (Waivers at worst). Froese is not bad in the NHL, but can't say he's great neither.

McCarron has been playing much better for some time and deserves a call up. I'm happy for him!

Different positions, different roles. I think both will fight for spots next year.... they might both make it...

tho im thoroughly upset with how he is playing this year, but the talent is weak on the team anyhow..
but i dont want to write him off just yet, lets see him prove himself one last time, he had bigtime chemistry with scherbak and hudon once too, would be cool to see it tried again at the NHL level, why not

Yes, but McCarron simply isn't good enough to be an NHL player imo. His play at Laval this season was very poor.

I wouldn’t put it past this team. Wouldn’t be surprised if Bergevin spends an hour literally spitting in Chucky’s face after every game at this point. Good tank move however. This should be the last look McCarron gets.

McCarron netfront, Galchenyuk at the circle on RW, Drouin on LW, Reilly on the point and Lehkonen in the slot. Not a ton of flashy names but could be a very effective PP
