Love McAvoy as a player, but yeah that's a slew foot.

It was a game where the refs were allergic to blow the whistle

Pasta lost his stick 3 times by hacks

Bruins going on the PP only once was ridiculous

League/Refs clearly want to extend this series

Another hilarious attempt at a thread and no slew foot at all. The leaf totally sold it should be fined for the dive of all dives. CBC really brainwashes you poor hopeless souls so easily = biased media

I've watched this clip a few times. I can see the motion for a slew foot, but nothing comes close to connecting.

I mean, it would've been nice if the refs at least got their head out of their ass for the really ignorant things.

also a Japanese one, here: ( ൬ _ — )

In order to be a slewfoot, his legs need to be KICKED from under him. There's literally none of that in those videos.

Are you serious saying it isnt close? I mean more likely it was the grab that took him down, but there is clearly a kicking motion and it looks like it just missed in that second video.

Again not thread worthy, but saying it isn't close than preaching to other people to learn what a slew foot is, it's funny.

"more likely"...

Definitely a slew foot.

Foot/leg behind opposing player's leg, applying forward pressure: check
Arm in front of opposing player's chest, applying backwards pressure to rotate upper body over fulcrum of leg: check.

Textbook slew foot (though McAvoy didn't apply a lot of pressure with his leg, he still kicks it forwards).

"Applying forward pressure: check"? He. Doesn't. Even. Touch. His. Leg.

He TRIES BUT MISSES the slewfoot. It looks like he pulls him off balance backwards and thats why Hyman falls.

Please stop with useless threads on nothing plays.

I concur. The motion was there but nothing happened. Non issue. Also the way the game was being reffed that game, not a penalty either.

This from a Leafs fan.

Yes, because the bruins didn't get away with all of the above as well.

They should just cut his feet off. That’ll teach him to never kick out the legs of an opposing player ever aga...oh wait.

It’s the playoffs ladies and gentlemen. Time to put the big boy/girl pants on and enjoy the show.

I’m sure that’s what Wingels is saying.
