Where does he go in the draft?

50 goals and 32 assists in 24 games for Vastrom in Russia Jrs.

    Central Scouting Report:
A skilled winger that competes every game… an explosive skater with good agility… has good stickhandling skills and a nose for the net… has an accurate and quick release shot.

Central Scouting did not have him ranked at mid term but moved up to 50th by the end of the season.

I also heard he planned on coming over to the CHL next season.

Sounds like a dynamite player to me.

I'd say he'd go anywhere between high 3rd to high 4th round... With any luck...the Kings will get him...

(I'm still not sold on Cherepanov...but this kid was one of the three Russians I'd like to see drafted by LA...)

So two goals per game is pretty awesome. I doubt he loses the offense as he goes up. Not ranked to 50th by central scouting from mid season to end of season, is pretty impressive.

I'd imagine he's the type of player who would make a high "flight risk", if you will: a mid-level prospect with undeniable offensive skills. It's encouraging that he's coming over to the CHL but he still falls into that dangerous category of Russian players who might do better for himself in say, the RSL rather than the AHL. I'll admit I know nothing about his character or dreams or intentions but I'd personally be hesitant to draft him before the 4th round.

    Gionta is 5'7 and 175lbs
    Cammalleri is 5'9 and 180lbs

Small players can play the game.

I just took a chance on this kid. I drafted him late 2nd round in my keeper league. Coming over to the CHL, we'll by this time next year if he's able to score at higher levels
