Ostapchuk earns more than 1000 dollars a month in Yaroslavl. And he loves money. So i doubt he will come to NA this year.

I believe the number actually varies from player to player.

Also, Tier II junior players are not paid at all or else they would lose their NCAA eligibility.

You'd be surprised how relaxed the rules are in Junior A. Most (if not all) teams give their players some sort of money under the table for living expenses and pocket money. The guys who played major junior and end up back in Jr. A usually bring in some pretty decent money from the teams, at least they did with the team I worked for.
