Why would the Canadiens do that?
What would the incentive be for them to make that trade?

You stole my idea? I have s feeling that patch + chucky vs OEL + domi will happen
I'm not sure I get it either.... I'm a Habs fan and its probably just lack of knowledge of the player from Habs fan perspective because they've rarely seen him play. We're quick to overvalue our own players, and undervalue another team's.Why Habs so against this trade?
Maybe they think he can play center... they certainly don't think the other guy can..Why would the Canadiens do that?

Both teams would say no. Galch would leave Arizona quicker that a Mexican hopping the border in 2020 and the Canadians don't need to make themselves worse.
Neither one is a stud or a dud. Would look like a lateral move for both at best.
