That's right....

At some point they're going to start going in and in the same spirit as the Coyotes playoff thread some levity is needed around here.

According to my calculations, he'll need to average one goal over the next 10 games to meet this threshold.

Maybe they could let him bring his dog on the bench to help wake him up?

GO MAX!

Alex Ovechkin is the leader in goals and he's on pace for 59.

Domi has 2 goals. So he only needs 1.05 goals per game going forward to win the rocket.

How the hell is Ovechkin on pace for 59 goals? That guy is just unfairly good at hockey.

Legit wondering if the power vacuum in the room in terms of leadership plus management f***ing around with his friend and linemate is distracting the hell out of him. Klinkhammer and Moss had more finish than Domi has right now.

But that only happened with last year's coaching/management struggle - we moved way away from that...:sarcasm:

Domi needs some of this! Then he will be dunking home some goals tomahawk style.

Let's see.....according to my calculations, if he can pot 4 tonight, he'll need to average one goal over the next 6 games to reach this threshold.

Name a full time player from last years roster having as good a year or better year this year versus last year? Plenty are worse, none are better.

OEL and Dvorak.

But really this isn't a very good way to look at it anyway. The amount of players you can use that comparison on are minimal given the turnover.

Murphy, Stone, Vrbata, Hanzal, Smith, McGinn, Doan, Crouse are gone. Only 11 players played 70+ games last season.

Who's left? Goligoski, Schenn, Martinook, Rieder. With the exception of Goligoski these are marginal players. And Rieder's ankle exploded during the worlds. And Goligoski was absolutely brutal early last season too. Schenn is Schenn.

Dipping into the 50's:
Duclair (better this year, almost matched his point total already)
Perlini (.36 ppg vs .41 this year)
Domi
Chychrun (barely played, not relevant)
