    Two 2e round pick , 6'0 , Matt : 190lb , Mathieu : 200lb

They are two dominant offencive D-Men .

I know Mathieu are still in the Q and Matt in the NHL , but can you guys comparing these two player ?

Its really hard to tell early in the season and the bad part is Mathieu didn't even make it to the NHL yet...

my pick is Matt Carle since he is leading NHL in point among defenseman.

Their names are similar, and the comparison stops there. I am a Habs fan, but it is very hard to compare both as they are miles away in development. One is already having success in the NHL while the other one needs to work hard for the next 3-4 years to reach the NHL. Mathieu did great in the training camp and is currently on pace for a superb season in the LHJMQ. He wasn't a CSB favorite, and might prove everyone the agency was wrong.
