Thats called poor menu design. In truth, thats my main complaint with the game. Overly complicated and clunky menus.

Right now, the deluxe edition is 13.87 on amazon. Im assuming it's worth it at this price?

IMO, absolutely. Combat is fun and overall it's a decent adventure.

That said, lower expectations and expect a lot of Ubisoft-style side quests.

I would say yes. its not the greatest game in the world but it is not the worst by anymeans. its a good time filler for 14$ and easily worth that price.
