Nystrom was a bottom 6 beast for dallas. he was physical, stuck up for teammates a ton, and provided decent depth. seemed like he fell off a cliff after Nashville signed him.

Raymond looked decent the first dozen games after we signed him, but that first injury he got with us ended him he hasn't been the same since

At the time the contract wasn't too bad. He was coming off a decent season in Toronto. We didn't think guys like Gaudreau would explode like they did, and we needed a couple contracts to be over the floor through the rebuild.
