See this is why I don't agree. Lindberg put up 13 goals and 28 points in 68 games last year and he had some injury issues and they carried over to this year. That is decent third line production. He ain't Emerson Etem or even Matt Puempel. He's shown that if healthy he can put up respectable numbers.

If I was the GM of a team with offensive depth issues I'm definitely interested in Lindberg if the Rangers waive him. I'm thinking I got a legit third liner when he gets his game back together. Lindberg's not a guy you waive--he's a guy you keep or trade.
