Suspicious that he seemed fine on the ice and he has his sick father to "deal with". I bet it's a minor injury that would could play through but listed on IR so he can be with his father while saving the team some money.

His fiancée(Carly Aplin) is a semi-regular on KFAN, and they called her this morning on air to surprise her with questions about Zucker's leg.

She said he's fine, but wouldn't say for sure he'd be back next game.(you could hear Zucker in the background a bit)

So slash probably just hit a nerve and caused dead leg, or deep bruise.
